    These rugs are handknotted by members of the Esari Clans in the district of northern Faryab. Afghanistan. These popular tribal rugs are created using a special mix of dyes to make the traditional fil-pai gul (or Feel Pai) designs meaning Elephants foot.

    A group of distinctive Afghan rugs produced by several tribes from across the north of the country. In an assortment of deep, earthy tones prominently warm reds and deep red-maroon, outlined with traditional dark blue and black. These rugs are hand-woven with the highest quality fine wool.
